 I can’t tell you how wonderful Shana was to work with. She was so helpful and always quick to answer any questions we had concerning buying our new puppy. Plus doing the Zoom meeting with our puppy was absolutely the best way to meet her. We love our little Zoey. Thank you all so much!! 💖🐾💖🐾 

 From the time we brought her home, our Milly has been such a joy! She is very well adjusted and made herself right at home. She has stolen our hearts! Shana was wonderful with updates, photos, and answers any questions right away. We couldn't be any happier! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. 

 We had a wonderful experience with Hensley Homestead Dachshunds! Our little Molly was almost completely pad trained! She is happy, healthy & a total joy. Thanks to Shana & Roy who made themselves available to answer any questions ( sometimes dumb ones) after I brought Molly home!! 

 Homestead Dachshunds is a fantastic breeder. Holly is a sweetheart and has a wonderfull playful personality. We have had 3 others previously and Holly is by far the most well adjusted. 

 We absolutely love Leif (who is now Nash)! He is the best little guy, not to mention adorable! Excellent personality and gets along very well with our other doxies! Thank you, Shana and Roy, for the wonderful experience! We would highly recommend your puppies to anyone!! 

 I couldn’t have had a better experience. Shana & Roy were awesome - so knowledgable & kind. It was a pleasure meeting them & getting my precious baby, Nigel. He is so sweet, fun, & learning very well. I could not be happier❤️. 

 I truly don’t have words to describe how great of an experience we had with HHD! From the time we made contact initially all the way to pick up, Roy and Shana have been so wonderful and informative. Between weekly updates, pictures, puppy schedule and a complete list of items used; we felt so prepared getting Indy and bringing her home. Will definitely be back when we’re ready for another! 

 If this review process had a star system, I would choose all the stars in the sky. That's how perfect my experience has been. Shana is a dream to work with. I knew from my first contact I had made the right decision to travel from TN to KY even though there were other puppies closer. Shana is extremely responsive kind and caring. It's apparent that she loves her dogs and that this is much more than a transaction for her. We have kept in touch since our baby's adoption and she and her husband have made it clear that they are always available whether we need them next month or a year from now. Our puppy is perfection. He is beautiful, playful, smart and energetic and has brought so much joy to our family. It is said that dachshunds are like potato chips, you can't have just one and if we decide to add to our family we will, without a doubt, adopt through HHD again. 

 Hensleys Homestead Dachshunds demonstrated unparalleled knowledge and passion for their pups. Their dedication to the well-being and care of their dogs was evident. The transparency throughout the process—from initial inquiries to the day we brought our Maverick home—was reassuring and appreciated. It’s evident that they go above and beyond to ensure each pup is nurtured and loved before finding their forever homes.
