ABOUT US
At Hensley Homestead Dachshunds, our mission is to provide high-quality Dachshund puppies that grow into cherished members of their families. With over 10 years of experience in breeding and raising dogs, we take great pride in producing healthy, happy, and well-socialized puppies that bring joy for years to come.
Our Breeding Program
Our breeding program is built on care, knowledge, and integrity. Every dog in our program is AKC registered and Embark health tested to ensure the best genetics and temperament possible. We work closely with a team of experienced veterinarians who help us maintain the highest standards of health and wellness for all of our dogs.
Retirees Available
In addition to our puppies, we also offer retired adult Dachshunds for adoption. These special dogs have been a part of our breeding program and are now ready to enjoy a relaxing life as family companions. Each retiree comes spayed or neutered, fully groomed, and with a dental cleaning. They are also housebroken and crate trained, making the transition into their new home smooth and stress-free.
We take great care to ensure every match is the right one, which is why there’s an application and interview process for all retiree adoptions. Our goal is to find loving families that will give these dogs the same affection and attention they’ve always known here on the homestead.
